What RIDER is

RIDER is a social app for group riders: create and join groups, live map, walkie-talkie, trip recording, discovery map, posts and messages. The operator of the service is named in Operator information.

Your account

You must be at least 16 to register on your own. Under-16s may use RIDER only when a parent or guardian registers and consents on their behalf.

Under Decree 147/2024/ND-CP, only accounts verified with a Vietnamese mobile number (or, failing that, a personal identification number) may post and share information. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising the use of people under 16.

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything done through it.

Your content

You keep your rights to the photos, posts and routes you publish. You allow RIDER to store, display and distribute that content within the scope you choose (public, followers, group only) in order to run the service.

Do not post content that breaks the law, infringes others’ rights or goes against the Community Standards.

Removing content and suspending accounts

RIDER may remove content and restrict or suspend accounts that violate these terms, and removes unlawful content within 24 hours of a request from a competent authority.

Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Violating content is removed and the poster may be suspended. Profanity is masked automatically. You are told the reason and may appeal through the Help center.

Groups, trips and safety

RIDER is a tool for connecting people. It does not organise trips and is not responsible in place of group leaders or participants. Everyone is responsible for obeying traffic law and for their own vehicle, health and insurance.

SOS and crash detection are support features and do not replace calling emergency services. See the road-safety section of the Community Standards.

Free today, advertising later

RIDER’s features are currently free to download and use, and there are currently no third-party ads. In the future RIDER may show sponsored content as posts, groups or stories. Such content will always be labelled “Sponsored” or “Ad”, as advertising rules require, and kept separate from your own content.

Before this starts, RIDER will notify you in the app at least 7 days ahead and update the Privacy Policy. RIDER is not responsible for an advertiser’s content, product quality or promises; any transaction with an advertiser is between you and them. If paid features are added later, RIDER will state the price and conditions clearly before you agree to buy.

You can report sponsored content that is unlawful or bothersome with the Report button or through the Help center.

Buying and selling

Transactions between users (the rider Market, when it opens) are between buyer and seller. Business accounts must provide a valid tax code or business registration number.

Limitation of liability

Map data, directions, road alerts, weather, speed and distance may be inaccurate or delayed. RIDER provides the service “as is” to the extent the law allows; your statutory consumer rights are not excluded by these terms.

Changes to these terms

For important changes RIDER notifies you in the app at least 7 days before they apply. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Vietnam. Disputes are first resolved through negotiation and otherwise before the competent court in Vietnam.
